Kolanupaka is well known for Jain, Shiva, Vishnu temples. Many devotees, tourists all over India and abroad visit this area. The Jain temple which is located here is well known all over world. It is the second oldest Jain temple in India, while the king shankara Deva carrying diamonded embedded idol of Lord Manikhya Deva, the idol of fall down near this village, so the temple was built in this place.

Someshwaralayam (Kotilingeswaralayam) The Linga of Someshwara is also called Swayam bhu Linga. History says that this Linga was formed about 4000 years ago. In krita yug it was converted, as golden linga form, in Tretayuga, it was converted as Silver Linga. Sri Sri Sri Adi Jagdguru was borne by breaking these two lingas. He went in to shiva linga after campaigning the shaivism. So this linga is one of the five lingas in the country. One is Someshwara Linga in Kolanupaka, Second is Ujjain, Third is Kedari the fourth is Srisailam and the fifth is Kasi

• The temple was built in Kurmavatara in the width of 2 acres of land with height of 180 feet.
• Ex Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya adopted to develop that Kolanupaka
• Rs. 1000 crores sanctioned for the development of the Kolanupaka, Komuravelli, Keesara corridors.
